The Chevra Kadisha will need to meet with you in order to organise the funeral and obtain the required information to register the death with the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages. See below for a guide as to what will be discussed at the interview and what you should bring to the Chevra Kadisha:
- Download and complete the Funeral Plan Form to the best of your ability (or print and complete the PDF version of the form).
If you required an additional reserved plot for another relative, also complete and print the Information Required for Purchasing or Reserving a Plot form
(or print and complete the PDF version). - For a male deceased, If available, bring their tallit (prayer shawl) and kittel to the Chevra Kadisah, as the deceased will be wrapped in them.
