For over 200 years, the Sydney Chevra Kadisha has been the sole provider of Jewish funerals in NSW.
Our staff, with the assistance of a dedicated team of around 40 volunteers,
has been there for the community 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
However now we need you help.
Our 70 year old building in Woollahra is desperately in need of significant
upgrading. We have DA plans approved to:
– PROVIDE 50% MORE SEATING CAPACITY
– BETTER FACILITIES AND AMBIENCE
– DOUBLE THE TAHARA AREA
– COMPLETE ACCESSIBILITY
– INCREASED SECURITY
